Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our services, pricing, and process — from your first quote to the final wipe-down.

Do you offer mobile detailing?

Yes! Mobile detailing is one of our core services. We bring professional-grade equipment, premium products, water, and power — everything we need — right to your home, office, or marina throughout Rhode Island and Southeastern Connecticut. No hookups required from you. We also welcome you at our Westerly shop anytime.

How long does a detail take?

The Basic Detail typically takes 2–4 hours depending on vehicle size. The Ultimate Detail — with machine polish and a full interior resto — takes 4–6 hours. Marine work depends on the boat's length and condition. We'll give you an accurate time estimate with your quote.

How much does the Basic Detail cost?

The Basic Detail starts at a base price of $350+ for cars and $450+ for SUVs and trucks — prices rise depending on condition. It includes a foam pre-soak and two-bucket hand wash, clay bar decontamination, premium sealant, and a focused interior refresh — not a quick spray-and-go.

How much does the Ultimate Detail cost?

The Ultimate Detail is $750 for sedans and coupes, $850 for SUVs and trucks. It's our most thorough service — full hand wash, clay bar, single-stage machine polish, premium sealant, steam-extracted carpets, and conditioned leather. Top to bottom, inside and out.

How is boat detailing priced?

Boat detailing is priced transparently per linear foot — starting at $20/ft per detailing step. Tell us your boat's length and what it needs (hull wash, compounding, wax, interior, teak) and we'll give you the exact figure up front before we schedule.

Do you do shrink wrapping?

Yes. We fit marine-grade, UV-stable shrink film with breathable, reinforced framing to protect your boat through the New England winter. Shrink wrap is sized by vessel length and beam with a $250 minimum — we'll give you a custom quote for your exact boat before we book.

Do you offer boat storage?

We offer secure, winter-ready boat storage for the off-season. Because availability and rates change through the year, please contact us for current capacity and pricing — we'll pair storage with a winter shrink-wrap and spring recommissioning detail so your boat launches clean.

Is a deposit required to book?

No — no deposit is required to request a booking right now. Submit your appointment request and we'll confirm your time by phone within 24 hours. Payment is settled at the time of service.

Do I need to provide water or electricity?

Not at all. Our mobile units are fully self-contained with water tanks, generators, pressure washers, and steam extractors. We simply need a safe, accessible area to park and work around your vehicle or boat.

What areas do you serve?

We serve all of Rhode Island and Southeastern Connecticut. Our primary area includes Westerly, Pawcatuck, Mystic, Stonington, Charlestown, Narragansett, South Kingstown, New London, Groton, and surrounding communities. Travel outside our core area may involve a small mileage fee — we'll let you know upfront.

How often should I detail my vehicle?

We recommend a Basic or Ultimate Detail every 4–6 months for daily drivers, and more frequently if your vehicle faces salt, sun, or heavy use. Boats should be detailed at least seasonally — spring commissioning and fall winterization are the most important times to protect the gelcoat.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash, and Venmo. Payment is due at the time of service. You'll know exactly what you're paying before we start — no hidden fees, no surprises.

How do I schedule an appointment?

The easiest way is our online booking form — choose your service, tell us about your vehicle or boat, and we'll confirm availability within 24 hours. You can also call us directly at (860) 374-8870.

Are you insured?

Yes — we carry comprehensive liability insurance that covers every vehicle and vessel we service. Your property is fully protected while in our care. Certificates of insurance are available on request.
